We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts and Audit Senior to join our client's dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional looking to advance their career in a thriving practice. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a range of client accounts and leading audit assignments. Key Responsibilities- Audit Leadership: Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and firm standards.
- Accounts Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing high-quality advice and identifying opportunities for business development.
- Team Supervision: Mentor and guide junior staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and fostering a positive team environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and audit regulations, ensuring all work complies with relevant laws and guidelines.
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong post-qualification experience. Qualified by experience and part qualified candidates will also be considered.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice, with a strong focus on audit and accounts preparation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and audit tools. Excellent understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
