About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. This role will be responsible for managing cash flow, overseeing accounts payable and receipts, ensuring proper recording of transactions, and working closely with our bookkeeping team and CFO to keep our financial records accurate and up to date. The Accounting Manager will also prepare and run monthly P&L reports, playing a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Monitor cash balances and manage cash flow to support business operations.
• Oversee and ensure that all receipts and deposits are recorded properly.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping team and CFO to maintain accurate books and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze the company's monthly profit & loss (P&L) statement.
• Support the CFO in preparing documentation for taxes, audits, and financial reviews.
• Implement and improve financial processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
• 3-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Expense Point, Xero, NetSuite, or similar).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
