Service Charge Accounts Assistant, Leeds, Real-Estate

Your new role

Reviewing and verifying invoice rates to ensure accuracy and compliance

Authorising invoices for payment in line with contractual and financial guidelines

Maintaining and updating internal databases with relevant financial and property data

Ensuring all payments are correctly acknowledged by landlords and third parties

Performing ledger reconciliations and supporting general accounting functions

Calculating financial caps and apportionments as required

Conducting data analysis to support financial decision-making

Identifying discrepancies and accounting errors, and securing refunds where applicable

Requesting and managing information from external stakeholders

Preparing detailed accounting reports for internal and client use

Supporting annual financial forecasting and budget planning activities

Communicating with clients via telephone, Teams, and in-person meetings

Carrying out ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as needed

What you'll need to succeed

Experience in accounts payable ledgers preferable

Prior experience with service charges is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Attention to detail and good analytical skills are essential.

Professional telephone and written manner
