Accountancy Practice Tax Senior

I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, growing multi-site rural accountancy practice with an outstanding reputation for client service and long-term staff development. This firm combines deep technical expertise with a genuinely supportive, people-first culture. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join their Tenterden office, with a particular focus on High Net Worth (HNW) individuals and Trust work. This is a fantastic long-term career opportunity within a stable, forward-thinking firm that truly invests in its people. The Role Working closely with Partners and Managers, you will take responsibility for a varied and interesting private client portfolio. The client base includes HNW individuals, landed estates, family businesses, and trusts, offering exposure to complex and rewarding advisory work. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of HNW private clients and trusts

• Preparing and reviewing personal tax and trust tax returns

• Advising on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and succession planning matters

• Supporting Partners with advisory projects and tax planning assignments

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

• Assisting with mentoring junior team members where appropriate

What We Are Looking For

• Solid experience handling HNW clients and Trust work within a UK accountancy practice

• Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, CGT, IHT and trust taxation

• ATT qualified; STEP qualification would be highly desirable

• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach

• Organised, proactive and keen to develop long-term within the firm
