Essential Functions

Presales Engineers work together with the assigned Account/Sales Team by providing expertise in the following areas:
• Work closely with sales as a consultant to understand customers and prospect's technical needs related to a specific market or specific product.
• Perform consultative selling of optimum support and system solutions.
• Manage and evolve a comprehensive technology collaboration and support.
• Participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts for deploying test systems.
• Plan, conduct and direct projects to support sales efforts and address future customer needs. Project plan includes costs, staffing, technical leadership and project evaluation.
• Keep apprised of all new product features and fixes.

Job Requirements

• At least 15+ years' experience working in the technology industry.
• Experience with NetApp solutions portfolio strongly desired.
• Strong understanding of data storage, data management, data security, cloud services and technologies encompassing the hybrid cloud (On-Premises, AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
• Ability to talk about technical subjects and deliver technical presentations to a wide array of audiences.
• Creative approach to problem solving with an interest and curiosity in current trends in IT and technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• French speaker (native) and English mandatory.
• Travel to the prospective customer's domestic sites and other global sites as necessary.
