Overview of role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as an Account Planner. The role is highly autonomous, allowing you to develop your expertise in media planning across award-winning brands. You will contribute to strategic planning and delivery of multichannel campaigns, gaining responsibilities that will help you grow into a well-rounded planner. You will be part of a strong, innovative team committed to delivering best-in-class work and industry-leading results.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Account Director / Senior Associate Director.

Measures of success

In three months, you will:

  • Become an expert in your client's account and sector.
  • Integrate into the Planning and Implementation teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and ensure accuracy of status reports.
  • Become the lead contact for key clients and team members.
  • Understand the department structure and key figures.
  • Contribute effectively to team workload.

In six months, you will:

  • Build strong client relationships and become a key account lead.
  • Support your team and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop understanding of the client's market and media landscape.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve workflows.

In 12 months, you will:

  • Contribute to wider projects beyond daily tasks.
  • Become an expert in your clients' media planning.
  • Build relationships across agencies and categories.
  • Help achieve excellent client satisfaction scores and support award submissions.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Participate actively in strategic sessions.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between planning and implementation.

  • Assist in new business pitches.

  • Support development of team members.
