Located: Field Based - National

  • Provides strategic insight regarding the customer's business and helps customers think differently, bringing new ideas and creative and innovative ways to help the customer's business and actually solve their problems/meet their challenges.
  • Truly understands/can diagnose customers underlying problems or challenges through client needs assessment to uncover IT requirements and develop tailored IT solutions
  • Identifies new, sustainable, customised means of addressing those challenges (teach customers things they don't know) across our core business, ITS, PP and Outsourcing.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of IT products and services, showcasing their relevance and value in addressing client-specific challenges.
  • Clearly articulate the unique value proposition of IT solutions, demonstrating their tangible benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Reduce the complexity and the risk for customers by helping them to make purchasing decisions
  • Drives sales, margins and delivers customer value in any kind of economic environment
  • Protects premium pricing through well designed solutions sales
  • Identifies key stakeholders and engages with a wide range of different stakeholders throughout the sales process through to delivery and after sales
  • Determines the right metrics to measure success and to Identify return on investment (based on performance of the customer's business)
You will ideally have
  • Demonstrable track record within an IT Sales role achieving and surpassing sales targets
  • Experience of managing the end-to-end sales process from initial discovery through to successful deal closure, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
  • In-depth knowledge (or a desire to develop existing knowledge) across 4 key Value Propositions (MDS/PP/ITS/Outsourcing)
  • Ability to accurately identify and engage with multiple key stakeholders
  • Effective questioning and active listening
  • Articulate with excellent presentation skills
  • Inspires trust and confidence and creates a positive impression/has 'gravitas' in front of customers
  • Resilient and tenacious with the ability to calculate and manage risks where appropriate
  • Ability to initiate and control high level debate
  • Always has a different view of the world and looks positively towards the future
  • Understands the customer's business - economic drivers/customer's value drivers
  • Commercially aware/business acumen - keeps abreast of the market
  • Not afraid to share their views, even when they're different and potentially controversial
  • Able to think about complex issues from a different perspective/bring fresh insight
  • Uses strong two-way communication skills - engage in robust two-way dialogue
