About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their growing team in Mayo.

The successful candidate will focus on developing strong customer relationships, managing key accounts, generating new business opportunities, and delivering sustainable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Develop new business opportunities and sales channels
• Build long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Conduct customer visits, presentations and business reviews
• Prepare sales plans and account development strategies
• Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Attend trade shows, networking events and customer meetings
• Support customers through the full sales process

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Account Management, Sales, Internal Sales, Business Development or Customer Relationship Management
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• CRM experience essential
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Full driving licence desirable
