Our client is a boutique, "small but mighty", PR consultancy that specialises in companies new to the UK. Key sectors are, on the b2b front: tech and professional services and on the b2c side food, drink and lifestyle. We're basically on the look out for a chameleon with expertise in both but with a stronger focus on b2b which will probably account for the majority of client activity.

This role is offered as a wfh opportunity but easy access to London on a regular basis, as needed.

Strong social media skills, great contacts on the business profiling/opinion piece side and also able to secure news pieces in the top tech media.

Our client offers an offer an end to end service that spans hard hitting media relations, and for providing excellent content with owned and earned media expertise.

The Role

  • Responsibility across client programs, taking ownership, resolving issues and working collegiately with a small team
  • Produce smart, metric PR and marcomms plans linked to clients' business objectives
  • Overall client servicing and planning
  • Demonstrate leadership and experience in client relationships, management and professionalism
  • Understand the complete PR discipline from print through to digital and social.
  • Strategic development and organic growth of a b2b client portfolio
  • Actively listen to and articulate client needs and communicate this to the teams
  • Work on new business, develop new prospects, take an active role on pitches for consumer technology and lifestyle clients

Skills

  • Strong b2b writing, social media and journalist pitching skills
  • Have good knowledge of the b2b technology industry as well as relevant media, analyst and other media relationships
  • A proven track record in running b2b campaigns within an agency environment
  • A start up client mentality
  • Confident in giving strategic counsel to clients
  • Experienced in handling new business
  • Able to support on new business proposals and pitches
