Accommodation Supervisor

The Hodson Bay Hotel is currently recruiting for an experienced Accommodation Supervisor. Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, the successful candidate will assist with the overall running of the Accommodation department. We are interested in candidates who are fully flexible Monday-Sunday.

Duties

• Allocating work duties & cleaning lists to Accommodation Assistants/ Porters on a daily basis.
• Carrying out routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms.
• Reporting and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues.
• Oversees implementation of deep cleaning programs, maintenance reporting and follow-up.
• Ensuring all rooms & Front of House areas are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard at all times
• Liaising & communicating with Front Office and Reservations teams regarding room status.
• Knowledge of Opera is not essential but desirable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in a similar role
• Be a good team leader
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational & interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work
• Fluency in both written and oral English
