Job Title: Accommodation Supervisor
Reports to: Accommodation Manager/Manager on Duty

We're looking for an Accommodation Supervisor who brings warmth, organisation, and positive energy to everything they do, someone who leads by example on the floor, supports their colleagues day to day, and helps create an environment where both guests and the team feel genuinely looked after. This is a hands on role where your presence makes a real difference, and your contribution is seen, felt, and valued.
As Accommodation Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Accommodation Manager and wider hotel team to maintain high standards, support daily operations, and ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded. You'll be a visible point of leadership within the department, motivating the team, championing quality, and ensuring our values are reflected in every room, every interaction, every day.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising the day to day presentation of guest bedrooms, public areas, and corridors to ensure consistently high standards
- Leading by example on the floor, supporting the team with guidance, encouragement, and practical help
- Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive working atmosphere where everyone feels supported and valued
- Responding to guest requests and feedback promptly, with care, empathy, and attention to detail
- Checking rooms regularly, including VIP arrivals, to ensure standards and Riverside finishing touches are met
- Supporting the implementation and adherence to accommodation SOPs to ensure consistency across the department
- Assisting with the induction and on the job training of new team members
- Monitoring linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies and reporting shortages or issues to management
- Supporting deep clean schedules and daily task allocation to maintain standards
- Ensuring team members meet grooming, uniform, and name badge standards
- Promoting and maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation throughout work areas
- Supporting compliance with all health & safety regulations and hotel policies
- Managing lost property in a careful, organised, and professional manner
- Communicating effectively with Reception and other departments to support smooth guest journeys
- Assisting with daily planning and prioritisation of tasks within the accommodation team
- Supporting team morale through positive communication and recognition of good work
- Maintaining orderly and clean linen rooms, storage areas, and staff changing facilities
- Reporting accidents, incidents, or hazards promptly and ensuring follow up action is taken
- Attending required health & safety training and supporting team compliance
- Working a flexible rota including weekends and public holidays
- Embracing teamwork, flexibility, and a hands on "pitch in" attitude across the department
