A2R IC and SOX Specialist

About the Job:

The role requires an individual, who is capable to work autonomously and proactively and also

works well as a team player. Builds effective working relationships with GFS teams and its

stakeholders in Sanofi's Global Business Units (GBUs) and Global Support Functions (GSFs), as

well as external partners where applicable.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage SOX documentation - Prepare, complete, review, and perform quality checks on SOX control documentation for A2R business area, investigating and following up on findings.

• Create and maintain control reports - Develop and update Control Implementation reports and risk assessments based on requirements and ad hoc needs.

• Provide training and awareness - Create documentation and deliver regular training on Internal Control requirements for captive teams and retained stakeholders.

• Conduct risk assessment and mitigation - Coordinate risk assessments to identify key risks and ensure processes are properly documented in local procedures with standardized controls across countries.

• Support SOX implementation and audits - Serve as interface between process owners and auditors, providing required documentation for internal and external audit testing.

• Drive root cause analysis - Analyze findings, create sustainable action plans, and coordinate implementation and monitoring of corrective actions.

• Participate in improvement initiatives - Support control standardization/optimization projects and automation initiatives, including document review and validation.

Account to report SOX Specialist reports directly to the A2R Head Budapest and works closely with A2R functional teams, GPLS and GPOs, Internal Control team, Global External Auditor team, other SBS departments and A2R teams in regions / countries.

About you

Experience :

• 3+ years of diversified IC financial experience
• Familiar with SOX control environment and regulations

Soft skills:

• Must have high attention to detail, quality and proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and strict deadlines
• Ability to lead through influence including demonstrated facilitator skills
• Strong organization skills: ability to track and manage a high volume of projects at a detailed level
• Adaptable and able to work in complex matrix environment

Technical skills:

• Advanced excel skills

• Must be able to download data and use pivot tables, V-look ups, macros, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and strategic thinking

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
