Regional Social Action (ARAS) Jura & Nord Vaudois is made up of 73 municipalities - for a population of approximately inhabitants - that have united to offer a unique range of services related to social affairs. The regional social center is looking for a: A social assistant General Mission You will ensure the social support of beneficiaries in accordance with the Vaud Social Action Law, its regulations, standards, and directives (notably that of Social Support) in force through regular follow-up and the provision of measures. Mission: Social Support: personalized support for beneficiaries through assistance, advice, and tailored follow-up that takes into account their overall needs and promotes their well-being. Social Integration: implementation of measures aimed at promoting social and socio-professional integration: support for the acquisition of social skills and enabling beneficiaries to strengthen their autonomy as desired. Required Qualifications: Holder of a degree from a recognized social school of the HES type (social work branch or another branch with possible specific additional training) or an equivalent title. Professional experience in the social field. Knowledge of the cantonal and regional social network. Good knowledge of social insurance. Proficiency in common tools. You have a marked interest in public service and in supporting vulnerable populations, as well as an ethic of assistance, and you are also recognized for your flexibility and your open-mindedness.
