A Great Opportunity for a Full Time Nanny-Tutor or Governess - Ingatestone Essex

A great opportunity for a Flexible, Nanny-Tutor/Governess is required to a lovely family in Ingatestone, Essex.
A lovely family need an experienced Nanny-tutor/Governess to work with two children aged 8 and 6 years old. The family would ideally like someone who is happy to assist them in educational activities. The candidate needs to be able to get the children ready for school, and do the school drop off. During term time, the candidate will do laundry, light housekeeping and run errand (the family have a cleaner, so only light housekeeping duties are required) and prepare snacks and supper before picking them up from school and returning home, where they will need assistance in doing homework etc. It is essential that the candidate is either a qualified nanny or has teaching experience and is happy to use that in assisting the children with educational activities.
During the school holidays the candidate will need to ensure that the children have plenty of activities to keep them occupied including taking them to social events and different excursions. The family need someone who can lead by example, and help the children to develop into well-mannered adults. The position is a live out, however they will consider a Live in candidate.
The candidate would need to start in July 2026 and ideally be with the family on a long term basis.

Location of the job: Ingatestone Essex
Minimum experience Level for this job: It is essential that the candidate has experience in being a teacher or tutor or is a qualified nanny.
Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid essential before application.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Teaching diploma is preferred but not essential
Hours of work: 7-7
Days required: Monday to Thursday.
Pets in the home: no pets as yet, but they are potentially considering getting a dog.
A confident driver with a clean UK driving licence is required for this position
Job Start Date: July 2026
Pay: £60,000 Gross per Annum.
This is a permanent position.
