Responsibilities

Specialist Podiatrists are urgently required to work with our client, the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. Roles are based in Lisburn and Newtownards in their podiatry department, specializing in wound care and management of high risk caseloads. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with an initial 3-month term and potential for extension. Responsibilities include the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with high-risk foot conditions, including diabetic foot ulcers, complex wounds, and vascular complications. You will work independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist wound care, offloading, and preventative treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Podiatry (or equivalent) and registered with the HCPC
• A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
• Demonstrable experience in high-risk foot care and wound management
• Full driving licence and access to a car
