The Role

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our busy independent fresh food café in rural West Lancashire.

Based in a converted barn alongside three other independent businesses, we serve brunch six days a week, 52 weeks a year, using fresh ingredients and preparing everything on-site.

This is a fast paced, high footfall kitchen with an open plan, customer facing environment.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who can remain calm under pressure, work efficiently, maintain consistently high standards and be a friendly face for customers.

You will be joining a friendly, close knit team with a positive culture and very low staff turnover. As an independent business, there is no corporate structure or unnecessary red tape - just a supportive environment where hard work and good ideas are genuinely valued.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a fresh food kitchen
• Experience preparing fresh food from scratch
• High standards of food presentation
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Friendly and confident with customers and colleagues
• Passion for quality food and teamwork
• Reliable and detail focused
