Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Registered Nurses who are highly motivated and passionate about delivering high quality patient centred care within your Palliative Care Ward. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

The Alexandra Unit (Ward B1) is an 8 bedded purpose-built Palliative Care ward delivering individualized care to patients with progressive or advanced disease who require management of complex symptoms, psychological support and end of life care. Successful applicants must have the ability to show compassion and empathy in difficult situations, having a positive attitude to change and evidence of continued professional development.

We have one part-time, permanent post available-34.5 hours per week.

You will be required to work a variety of shifts covering a 24 hour period to meet the needs of the service.
