Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Diagnostics ICT System Support Manager to lead digital projects and support key clinical IT systems across our Diagnostics Directorate. In this role, you'll help deliver essential system upgrades and replacements, support day to day running of diagnostic IT services, and work closely with clinical teams to ensure safe, effective, and efficient digital operations. You'll lead on project planning, stakeholder engagement, system improvements, and coordination of a small ICT support team.

You'll play a key role in delivering major digital improvements across Diagnostics, including system replacements such as PACS, LIMS and Test Order Communications. Your work will directly support patient care and service efficiency across the region.

Qualifications
  • Strong project or change management experience.
  • Excellent IT knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work well with clinical, managerial, and technical colleagues.
  • Experience leading teams and managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • A background in diagnostics (e.g., Radiology or Labs) and/or a project management qualification is desirable.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
