About the Role: Ziegler UK is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and optimise our warehouse operations at London Gateway. You'll ensure smooth daily activities-from goods receipt and inventory control to order fulfilment and dispatch-while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance • Collaborate with Transport and Forwarding teams to coordinate workflows • Monitor KPIs, resource planning, and workload allocation to meet targets • Lead recruitment, training, and development of warehouse staff • Drive operational improvements and manage specific logistics projects • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety across the warehouse • Manage communication and coordination between departments

What We're Looking For: • 3+ years' experience managing logistics or warehouse operations, ideally with transit experience • Proven ability to set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and lead medium to large teams • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure • Excellent organisational and commercial awareness • Experience implementing new logistics clients and leading change management initiatives • Team player with a proactive, flexible approach to continuous improvement

Desirable: • Full UK driving license • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification • Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office • Relevant logistics, supply chain, or business management qualifications
