The post holder has professional and managerial responsibility for the nursing service, on a 24-hour basis within Ward 23, overseeing both clinical and staff governance issues.
Ensure the highest standard of personalised nursing care is delivered to patients and their families in partnership with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
Have overall responsibility for supervising the assessment of care needs and the delivery and maintenance of optimal care outcomes.
Motivate staff to provide high standards of care by acting as a role model.
Support the Clinical Nurse Manager and deputise in their absence.
