Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for someone resilient, nurturing, and able to build strong, trusting relationships.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
- Encouraging positive choices and engagement
- Implementing strategies agreed with the SENCO
- Providing structured, consistent 1:1 support
You Will Need
- Experience with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar support-based roles
- Calm and patient nature
- Strong communication and resilience
