SEND Teaching Assistant (Unqualified) Chorley £106 per day Term Time Only 8:30am - 3:30pmAre you from a care, support work, or hands-on background and looking to step into a meaningful role within education?We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in the Chorley area. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in care or support roles who are confident and willing to assist with personal care where needed.Your Role Will Include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assisting children with a range of additional and complex needs within the classroom Providing personal care support when required Promoting independence, engagement, and positive behaviour Working alongside teachers and school staff to support learning and developmentWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm Term time only £106 per dayWhat We're Looking For: Previous experience in care, support work, or a similar background Experience (professional or personal) supporting individuals with additional needs is beneficial Confidence in carrying out personal care duties A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach A genuine desire to support children's development and wellbeingThis role is a great stepping stone for those looking to transition from care into education or build further experience in a school environment.If you are supportive, proactive, and ready for a rewarding new opportunity in Chorley, we'd love to hear from you.
