1:1 Teaching Assistant

Immediate Vacancy: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (EYFS - KS2) - Full Time - St. Helen's

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing individualised support to a specific pupil
• Assisting with classroom activities, sensory play, and developmental tasks in line with the Early Years curriculum
• Supporting the pupil's personal, social, and emotional development
• Monitoring and recording the pupil's progress, behaviour, and engagement
• Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external agencies to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to build the pupil's confidence and independence
• Assisting with personal care, where required

What We're Looking For:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Recent childcare or school-based experience within the last 2 years
• Ability to provide two references confirming your experience with children
• A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning
• Experience working 1-1 with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential
