We are looking for a compassionate and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary and secondary schools across Weston-super-Mare.

In this role, you'll be the vital link helping pupils overcome barriers to learning - empowering them to grow in confidence, thrive socially, and achieve their goals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing tailored 1:1 support that meets the individual needs of pupils.
• Encouraging pupils to actively take part in lessons and wider school life.
• Implementing targeted strategies to help pupils make measurable progress.
• Building strong, positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Working hand in hand with class teachers and communicating with parents to celebrate success and track development.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two recent professional references.
