1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Faringdon

Start Date: ASAP / January 2026

Pay: £89-£100 per day

A caring and inclusive primary school in Faringdon is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP. This role is ideal for someone patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about helping children with additional needs succeed.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
• Assist with learning tasks, daily routines and emotional regulation
• Follow the pupil's EHCP and implement strategies advised by the SENCO
• Promote confidence, engagement and independence
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team

Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children with SEN (school or care environment)
• A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
• Keen to develop SEN skills or progress within education
