The Role:
In this new role, the YouTube Channel Manager will super-charge our content and thrill our subscribers with innovative and engaging content, making Formula E a leader in YouTube content within the sports industry.
Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manger, you will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day management of our YouTube channel, working with freelancers and agencies to execute against our strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Channel management superstar: Take ownership of the day-to-day channel management by ensuring the content calendar is up to date, content is published and optimised, as well as engaging our audience.
- Agency/Freelancer/In-house management: Manage all video editors/agencies from the briefing to the feedback stage, as well as design output for thumbnails and community engagement.
- Insights and analysis acumen: Work with the Business Intelligence team to find insights and improvements for how the channel is managed and how content is performing.
- Fostering an online community: Build, moderate and foster a community across live and non-live output.
- Third party support: Work closely with key stakeholders including creators, broadcasters, publishers, and internal teams.

- Platform and Content expert: An expert in YouTube best practice with an understanding of the role of YouTube in the wider content strategy.
- Creative thinker: Able to ideate innovative content concept designs for YouTube ensuring all content is optimised for search and is as discoverable as possible.
- Collaborative Spirit: A highly collaborative and team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships across different teams.
