Youth Workers and Sports Coaches Needed for Daily Cover North London Schools

Must hold Enhanced DBS

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Youth Workers and Sports Coaches to provide daily cover support in secondary schools across North London. You will work with students during break/lunch periods, lead activities, supervise groups, support behaviour management, and assist with sports sessions as required.

Key Responsibilities Youth Workers

• Build strong, positive relationships with students
• Support student engagement and behaviour management
• Facilitate personal development activities
• Assist with one-to-one and small group support

Sports Coaches

• Lead and deliver engaging sports sessions
• Promote physical activity and teamwork
• Support informal play, games, and school competitions
• Help maintain a safe play environment

Person Specification

• Experience working with young people (school, youth clubs, coaching)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident supervising large groups
• Professional and proactive attitude
• DBS Enhanced check (or willing to obtain)
• Relevant qualifications (coaching award / youth work qualification) desirable but not essential
