Youth Offending Operations Manager, Havering

Rate: £45.20 Umbrella

Work Arrangements: Office-based with some remote working; 4-day working week (minimum 3 days on-site)

Duration: 3 months (with opportunity for extension)

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for delivering a youth offending service that safeguards children, young people, families, and communities, using statutory interventions within criminal justice and social care frameworks.
2. Lead and manage the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, integrated services to children, young people, and families, in line with national legislation, government regulations, local policies, and best practices.
3. Provide oversight and decision-making on complex cases within the youth offending service, including areas such as gangs, youth violence, CSE, Prevent, and whole family work.
4. Manage HR, performance, and resources for the team, motivating and developing staff to deliver a high-quality, effective service aligned with the Council's objectives.
