- Manage a caseload of children and young people involved with the Youth Justice Service, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and National Standards for Youth Justice.
- Complete complex assessments of offending behaviour, risk of serious harm, safety and wellbeing, vulnerability, and safeguarding concerns.
- Prepare high-quality reports, assessments and sentencing recommendations for the Youth Court, Panels, and Police.
- Deliver individual and group interventions designed to reduce reoffending, improve resilience, and support positive behavioural change.
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Social Work, Youth Justice, Youth Work, Criminology, Psychology, Probation Studies, Law, Education, or a related discipline.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to youth justice practice.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Knowledge of Youth Justice System National Standards.
- Understanding of the Children Act 1989/2004, Crime and Disorder Act 1998, Youth Justice legislation, safeguarding frameworks, and Equality Act 2000.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport for business use.
