Youth Helper

Youth Helpers work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. You will support our Youth Leaders to deliver sessions across our range of programmes and support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. Youth Helpers help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills, self-discipline, and encourage them to strive to be the best they can be, and supervise and support other adult volunteers in their team.

• Assist Youth Leaders in delivering sessions across our programmes to young people.
• Support the learning and development of young people, helping them build confidence, teamwork, and self-discipline.
• Supervise and support other adult volunteers within the team.

• Interest in youth development and volunteering with young people.
• Ability to work with young people in a safe, supportive environment.
• Commitment to regular volunteering and ability to collaborate with other volunteers and staff.
