Job Description

Surrey FA, Meadowbank Football Ground, Mill Lane, Dorking, RH4 1DX

The Youth Forum Chair plays a vital leadership role, providing guidance and support to fellow Youth Forum members while ensuring the views and experiences of young people are represented at the highest level of the organisation.

As Chair, the successful applicant will become a full member of the Surrey FA Board of Trustees, holding the same rights and responsibilities as other Board members throughout their term. The Board is responsible for directing the Association's business affairs, setting its vision and strategy, and overseeing the plans, policies and financial investment needed to achieve Surrey FA's goals.

This voluntary position requires a commitment of approximately one to two days per month and offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain valuable governance experience, and work alongside Surrey FA's CEO and Board of Trustees.

The Surrey FA Youth Forum is made up of young leaders aged 16 to 25 who are passionate about improving local football. Together, they create inclusive opportunities that empower young people and ensure their voices help shape the future of the game across Surrey.

Whether you're looking to make a difference in grassroots football, develop your professional skills, or represent the views of young players and volunteers, this is an exciting opportunity to have a lasting impact.

Please note: Applicants must be aged 16-25 at the time of application due to the nature of the role.

If you're ready to lead, inspire and help shape the future of football in Surrey, we'd love to hear from you.
