Youth Counsellor

As part of the continued expansion of our counselling services, we are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Youth Counsellor to join our team. The role involves initially seeing 3 clients one evening per week, with potential for additional hours based on demand and availability.

Job Details:

• Type: Part-time, sub-contractor
• Hours: 3 hours per week on Wednesday evenings, with sessions at 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm
• Salary: £20 per hour
• Location: Basingstoke (or via video call depending on client preference)
• Benefits: Onsite parking, potential for additional client hours

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified counsellor with a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Counselling, ideally Level 5 CYP certification
• Experience working with clients aged 11-16
• Experience conducting initial assessments, safeguarding, and managing clients with potential risks
• Availability for a minimum of three client hours on Wednesdays
• Ability to attend monthly supervision sessions
• Registered member of BACP/NCPS or equivalent
