EIS Versilia is seeking a Senior Yoga Instructor

Program: Afterschool / Wellbeing Curriculum Starting: September 2025

Location: Versilia, Tuscany Part-time position

EIS Versilia is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Yoga Instructor to lead sessions as part of the school's after school activities and/or mindfulness and wellbeing curriculum. The role is ideal for a professional who combines technical excellence with a holistic and educational approach, and who is passionate about working with young people in an international learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver structured, age-appropriate yoga sessions to students aged 6-18 (grouped by age/level);

- Promote physical and emotional well-being, awareness, and relaxation through movement, breath, and mindfulness;

- Integrate elements of yoga philosophy, guided meditation, and self-regulation techniques into classes when appropriate;

- Collaborate with staff on school wellbeing initiatives and special events;

- Adapt teaching for different levels of experience, flexibility, and age-ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectfullearning environment.

Requirements:

- Advanced Yoga teaching certification (minimum 300-500 hours);

- Documented experience teaching children and adolescents;

- Solid understanding of anatomy, yoga pedagogy, and child development;

- Familiarity with mindfulness education and emotional regulation techniques;

- Spoken English (minimum B2, C1 preferred); Italian fluency is a plus;

- Warm, calm, and professional presence, with strong classroom/group management skills;

- Availability one or more afternoons per week from September 2025.
