Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher with a passion for English? Are you looking for a Year 6 teaching role with the opportunity to lead English across the school?
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Oxford is seeking a Year 6 Teacher - English Lead to join their team from after Easter 2026. This role includes English Lead responsibility and is ideal for a confident practitioner who is experienced in upper Key Stage 2 and keen to make a wider impact on teaching and learning in English.
Responsibilities- Take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Lead English across the school, supporting curriculum development, staff confidence and standards in reading, writing and spelling.
- Work closely with senior leaders to drive improvement and ensure strong outcomes for all pupils.
