About the Role

justteachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on the outskirts Colne on a full-time basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on meeting the needs of learners with SEND.

• Hours: Full time (term-time only)
• Teaching within Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5)
• Strong focus on SEND support and inclusive practice

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 / KS2 curriculum
• Differentiate learning to support pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing tailored feedback
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Create an inclusive, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents to meet individual pupil needs

Pre requisites

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5
• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
