Year 5 Teacher

Academics Canterbury are recruiting a confident and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Margate. This Year 5 Teacher role is ideal for someone who enjoys upper KS2 and preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6.

The role:As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging, well-paced lessons across the KS2 curriculum

• Support pupils academically and emotionally

• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome

• Previous UK classroom experience is essential

• Strong KS2 curriculum knowledge

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Right to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available
