Year 5 Class Teacher

Are you an experienced Year 5 teacher ready to inspire pupils in upper KS2? Aspire People is partnering with a well established primary school in Manchester (M8) seeking a motivated and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons for Year 5 pupils across all subjects
• Prepare students for transition to Key Stage 3
• Identify learning gaps and deliver targeted interventions
• Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents

Who We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching upper KS2, preferably Year 5
• Strong knowledge of primary curriculum, assessment, and SATs readiness
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to pupils' development
