The Role

As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Teach an enthusiastic and engaged Year 5 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons across the National Curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure all learners are challenged and supported appropriately.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the year group and wider school community to share best practice.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support each child's learning journey.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience preferred).
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development.
• Brings a positive, proactive, and professional approach to their work.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
