Year 4 Teacher

Year 4 Teacher - Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as Year 4 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 4 pupils
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives
• Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils

Ideal Year 4 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• A proactive approach to professional development and teamwork

Salary - dependent on experience - is paid weekly through PAYE.
