Job Description

Love that stage where pupils start to really find their stride?

Year 4 is where things click into place, confidence builds, independence grows, and those deeper learning moments start to shine through. If you enjoy that balance of challenge and progress, but want more flexibility in your week, supply teaching could be just what you're after.

We're working with a range of supportive, welcoming primary schools across BS15 where classrooms are calm, purposeful, and focused on helping every child succeed. You'll be stepping into schools that value strong teaching, positive relationships, and consistency for their pupils.

What your week could look like:

  • Teaching engaged Year 4 classes who are ready to learn and take on new challenges

  • Delivering lessons that build confidence across the curriculum

  • Supporting pupils as they develop independence and resilience

  • No long-term planning pressure, just great teaching and rewarding classroom moments

We're looking for someone who:

  • Understands the KS2 curriculum and how to keep learners motivated

  • Brings confidence, adaptability, and a positive classroom presence

  • Builds strong relationships quickly with pupils and staff

  • Is flexible, reliable, and ready to step into different settings

What you'll get with us:

  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella hassle

  • Flexible working, you choose your days

  • FREE CPD, including Team Teach

  • Friendly, down-to-earth support from a team that gets it

  • Social events, think bowling and pizza nights

  • £50 refer-a-friend bonus, a nice little extra

Supply teaching in Year 4 is about more than covering a class. It's about keeping that momentum going, helping pupils grow in confidence, and making a real difference, even in a short space of time.

If that sounds like your kind of role, let's get you in the classroom.
