Year 4 Class Teacher - Maternity Cover, Inspire Progress

Overview

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a dedicated teacher for Middlemarch School in Nuneaton to cover maternity leave from September 1, 2026, to May 2027. This role requires you to support Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils and help them achieve good progress through their learning journey. You will need robust behaviour management skills and an encouraging attitude, stimulating engagement in both classroom activities and enrichment programs.

The school is welcoming and nurturing, with a supportive team environment and an excellent Ofsted report. Candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and due diligence as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching and learning support to Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 pupils to help them make good progress.
• Demonstrate robust behaviour management skills and create an encouraging classroom environment.
• Encourage engagement in classroom activities and enrichment programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience teaching or supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Strong behaviour management abilities and a positive, motivating approach.
• Enhanced DBS check and due diligence as part of the selection process.
