An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school located in the heart of Reading from September 2026. This role is ideal for a Year 3 Teacher seeking a fresh opportunity at the beginning of the academic year within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
About the SchoolThis well regarded primary school prides itself on fostering a culture of honesty, respect and hard work among both staff and pupils. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be responsible for a class of approximately 20 pupils, allowing for more focused teaching and the opportunity to build strong relationships with students while supporting their transition into Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to support learning and development
- Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and confidence
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
