Year 3 SEND T.A - Crook

The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant for one of our partner schools in Crook. The position is full time based in Year 3 supporting a child with additional needs in the morning and general classroom support in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and promote good behaviour and positive values at all times.
• Support a child with additional needs and manage challenging behaviour using strong de escalation techniques.
• Work one on one or in small group settings with children who have additional needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working with children with additional needs (one on one or small group).
• Background in care or a related field with experience in de escalation.
• Enhanced DBS check and other safeguarding checks required.
• Strong communication and positive approach to teaching and learning.

Employment Details

Full time, start after Easter, potentially continuing through the rest of the academic year.
