Role: Teaching Assistant - Year 2
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Small Heath , supporting a Year 2 class on an ongoing basis.
The successful candidate will have previous Year 2 experience and be confident supporting pupils across the classroom, including children with additional learning and behavioural needs .
The ideal candidate will have:
Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working within Year 2
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
Strong understanding of learning and behavioural needs
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Confidence supporting learning both independently and alongside the class teacher
Flexibility and a proactive attitude
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA looking for a long-term, ongoing role within a supportive primary school.
