We are recruiting a full-time Year 2 Teacher for a supportive primary school in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity within Teaching jobs in Gateshead for a strong KS1 practitioner.
About the role:You'll be leading a Year 2 class, supporting pupils as they approach the end of Key Stage 1.
Your role will involve:- Delivering engaging phonics, reading, writing, and maths lessons
- Supporting pupils towards expected standards
- Differentiating teaching to meet all abilities
- Creating a positive and structured classroom
- Tracking and assessing pupil progress
- Experience within KS1
- Strong phonics knowledge
- A patient and encouraging teaching style
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am - 3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
