Yard Operative/FLT

Job Title: Yard Operative with FLTLocation: Bacup, OL13Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am - Early FinishFull-Time

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative with FLT to join our busy engineering company based in Bacup (OL13).

This is a varied and hands-on role working within a full engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day yard operations while also assisting other members of staff across the business when required.

This is a rewarding position suited to someone who is proactive, practical, and confident thinking on their feet.

• Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT)

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Managing and organising yard stock and materials

• Supporting workshop and engineering staff when required

• Assisting with general yard duties and housekeeping

• Ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently around site

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

• Valid FLT licence (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence (advantageous)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet

• Willingness to take initiative and support the wider team

• Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
