Yard Operative

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Yard Operative to join their team based on the outskirts of Grantham.

This is a temporary ongoing position with an immediate start available from Monday 18th May 2026.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• General yard duties
• Loading and unloading materials
• Manual handling of goods
• Keeping the yard clean and organised
• Supporting the wider team as required

Requirements

• Own transport is essential due to the location
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Previous yard or labouring experience preferred but not essential

This role would suit someone who enjoys hands on work and is happy working in an outdoor environment as part of a hardworking team.
