Praise Band Director at All Saints Anglican Church in Weddington, NC. The role involves leading praise band worship during our 11am service.

Introduction

All Saints is a growing Anglican Church in Weddington, NC. Our Sunday services include a 9am service led by a choir and piano, and an 11am service led by a praise band. We aim for Biblical, liturgical, sacramental worship that is open to the Holy Spirit.

Overview

Under the oversight of the Associate Rector for Youth & Worship, the band director plans and leads the 11am worship service. Responsibilities include recruiting and training volunteer musicians, selecting and arranging congregational songs, directing and encouraging the congregation, and setting a spiritual worship example in line with Anglican convictions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead musical worship at the 11am service.
• Collaborate with the choir director for special services.
• Recruit and schedule volunteer musicians.
• Curate and maintain a repertoire of biblical, singable songs, managing licensing and copyright.
• Train and encourage congregational singing.
• Rehearse the band for upcoming services.
• Work with the AV team to ensure high quality music.

Requirements

• Flexible hourly role up to 20 hours per week, typically hours.
• Lead music for principal feasts and fasts; may delegate on regular Sundays.
