Workshop Plant Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of technologically advanced plant hire machinery serving the construction, rail, major project, and energy industries. We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join a friendly and skilled engineering team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of plant machinery and attachments, delivering first-class service while developing your technical skills.Job Overview

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on plant machinery and attachments.
• Fault find on electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Inspect equipment leaving or returning to the depot.
• Prepare, test, and install plant attachments.
• Carry out servicing works in line with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain workshop and depot areas to a high standard of housekeeping.

Job Requirements

• Experience of working on heavy plant or transferable skillset
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Solid knowledge of plant and construction equipment.
• Welding skills.
• Commutable distance of Stratford-upon-Avon.

• £13-£15.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
