Workshop Manager
Location: Carrington
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £42,000- £44,000 per annum DOE

- Manage workshop loading and prioritize repairs based on customer and business needs.
- Minimize trailer downtime by selecting economical repair methods.
- Ensure all inspections, services, and repairs meet high standards and comply with legislation.
- Manage workshop systems and promote safe working practices.
- Maintain staffing levels, control overtime, and process paperwork efficiently.
- Identify warranty and goodwill opportunities.
- Analyze maintenance trends and report to management.
- Ensure vehicle operation complies with laws and policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold company values.
- Highlight business opportunities to managers.
- Ensure staff adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
- Complete necessary training.
Note: Duties may evolve with future developments or as directed by management.
Candidate Requirements:- Experience in workshop management is preferred.
- Qualified technician with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications, with a technical background in trailer repairs.
- Customer-focused with high professionalism.
- Experience managing a team is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and communicative.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize.
- Autonomous working ability and confident in questioning processes.
- Analytical skills and a valid driving license.
